Enjoyed nearby activities like hiking and fishing. Had a free continental breakfast, airport drop-off, and a terrace. Managed by a "professional" host.
Can't think of a single thing not to love about this place. So flawless.

Extremely welcoming and nice staff! Great treatment, lots of help and tips for restaurants, visits, and nearby beaches. Delicious breakfast with homemade cakes and jams. Located near the small village for a nice walk and great meal. A must-visit is the Hermita of San Miguel with amazing views of the Urdaibai Reserve. They also have a fun app for pictures at San Juan de Gaztelugache.
Felt totally relaxed, no complaints whatsoever.

The hosts were very nice and welcoming, making us feel at home during our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with an excellent mattress and a well-maintained bathroom.- The breakfast offered delicious homemade cakes and fresh juice.
The location of the hotel right next to the main road resulted in some traffic noise, which could be a bit bothersome. There were no common areas in the hotel, so there was no place to sit, relax, and read.

We got great value for our money with a well-decorated, clean room and a lovely garden. The owners were helpful and waited for us even though we arrived late. They gave us useful information about the area.
The breakfast menu could have had more variety.

A buffet breakfast that made me feel like I was in a never-ending brunch, with all the pastries, jams, and coffee I could ask for. And I didn't have to lift a finger, with the host taking care of everything for me.
WiFi so snail-paced, it made me think I had traveled back to the dial-up era.

I recently stayed at a lovely rural basque house located in a beautiful area of Northern Spain. The staff at this place were extremely welcoming and made me feel right at home. They provided great tips for restaurants, visits, and nearby beaches. The homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The house itself had a rustic charm with modern amenities. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a unique and enjoyable stay.

The staff at the hotel were extremely welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. They provided great tips and recommendations for restaurants, visits, and nearby beaches. We especially enjoyed the homemade breakfast, with delicious cakes and jams. The location of the hotel was also ideal, as it was within a reasonable distance to the village where we could enjoy a nice walk and a great meal. The house itself was beautiful, adding to the overall charm of our stay.
That the check-in process was a bit rushed, as it was a self check-in and we had to make sure we arrived before a certain time. , we received multiple messages about the check-in time and procedures, which became a bit repetitive and annoying.
